I was told that mandala sand is very useful as it is blessed and consecrated. It is very power for the sick and it also very useful to place on the crown of deceased as it is equal to a high lama's prayer.
I can understand the mandala being the deities palace, and wisdom beings were invited during/after the construction of sand mandala.
Can someone please inspire me as how does the blessing work in terms of cause and effect ? Especially when the receiver have no knowledge of such deity, then would this mean receiving 'blessing' by making a connection ??
